Experience

  • Programmer, designer and craftsman

    Coudre Studio

    2017 - Present

Design research, software development and production of unique 3D-printed ceramic pieces, with an extensive journey of exhibitions, lectures and research grants.

    • Programmed parametric (programmatic) 3D modeling interfaces in Grasshopper.
    • Developed the Coudre Studio website.
    • Researched new ways to control 3D printers and implemented them in code (Processing and G-Code), producing pieces that have been exhibited several times.
    • Worked on multiple R+D+I grant projects covering a variety of roles: graphic and product design, programming, pottery, documentation of results.
    • Gave several talks and workshops.

Visit the Coudre Studio website for more details on the projects I have worked on.

  • University teacher

    Elisava, UPC, Llotja (ESDAPC)

    2018 - 2022

Taught several classes about creative coding, design and digital fabrication.

    • Designed and taught the subject Experimentation Workshop II for the Master's degree in Design, and tutored the final engineering degree project Humanizing Robots, in Elisava. Both were about experimental and artistic uses of a Stäubli TX-60 industrial robotic arm.
    • Taught for two years a module in the Master's degree Design through New Materials at Elisava, on digital fabrication with experimental materials.
    • Participated with lectures on parametric design and sustainability in materials, for the Master's degree Parametric Design in Architecture at UPC and at Llotja School (ESDAPC).
